Managing QR Codes

List, edit, disable, delete, share, and export your QR codes.

All your managed QR codes are listed under My QR Codes. This page describes every part of the screen: stats, search, filters, table or grid view, bulk actions, row actions, and the edit modal.

My QR Codes screen — header and buttons

  • Page title — “My QR Codes” with a subtitle showing your workspace name.
  • Analytics — Opens the Analytics page.
  • Create QR Code — Primary button to open the QR Designer. If you are at your plan limit, this becomes View Plan & Usage.

If you are over your active QR limit, a warning alert appears with Manage active QRs, linking to the downgrade selection flow.

Stats row

When you have codes, four stat cards show:

  • Total Codes — Number of QR codes in the workspace.
  • Total Scans — Sum of scans across all codes.
  • Active Codes — Codes that are active (not disabled).
  • Avg Scans/Code — Total scans divided by number of codes.

Filter bar

  • Search — “Search by name, code ID, or URL…”. Filters the list as you type.
  • Status — All Status, Active, or Disabled.
  • Tag — Dropdown to show only codes with a selected tag (usage count shown when available).
  • Sort By — Name A–Z, Most Scans, Recently Created, or Recently Updated.
  • View toggle — Switch between table and grid layout.

Bulk actions

Select one or more codes with the row checkboxes. A bulk actions bar appears with:

  • Add Tags — Apply tags to every selected code.
  • Remove Tags — Remove specific tags from selected codes.
  • Delete — Permanently delete selected codes (with confirmation).

Table columns

The main table lists one row per QR code. Columns typically include:

  • Name — Friendly name (or code ID if no name).
  • Destination — Target URL (may be truncated).
  • Scans — Total scan count for that code.
  • Created — Creation date.
  • Status — Active or Disabled.
  • Actions — Quick view/download buttons plus a menu.

Click a row or use View Details to open the QR’s result page (detail and analytics).

Actions menu (⋮)

Each row has an actions menu. Options include:

  • View Details — Opens the code’s result/analytics page.
  • Edit — Opens the edit modal (Basic Info, Style, and Advanced tabs).
  • Download PNG / Download Transparent PNG / Download SVG (when your plan allows SVG).
  • Copy Link — Copies the public scan URL.
  • Copy API Call — Copies a sample PATCH request for updating the destination URL.
  • Disable or Enable — Stops or resumes redirects without deleting the code.
  • Delete — Permanently removes the QR code (with confirmation).

Editing a QR code

Click Edit to open the edit modal. It has three tabs:

  • Basic Info — Friendly name, destination URL, and description.
  • Style — Module shape, eye shape, colors, and transparent background. Style changes apply to newly downloaded images; the printed QR image itself does not change.
  • Advanced — UTM parameters, tags, webhooks, schedule, and Smart Redirect rules (when your plan includes them).

Click Save to apply. Changing the destination URL does not change the QR image; only the redirect target updates.

For a full design from scratch, use the QR Designer.

Disable vs delete

  • Disable — The QR stops redirecting; scans see an inactive message. Use Enable to turn it back on. Use this to pause a campaign without losing the code or analytics.
  • Delete — Permanently removes the QR code and its analytics. This cannot be undone. Consider disabling instead if you might need the code again.

Share and export

  • Copy Link — Copies the public scan URL so you can share it beside the QR.
  • Export CSV — On the QR’s result page, download scan events (time, device, region, etc.) for the selected date range.
  • Share token — On the result page you can generate a read-only analytics link for teammates or clients. Keep the link private if the data is sensitive.

Download QR image

From the row actions or the result page, download PNG, transparent PNG, or SVG (when supported). Use these for print, signage, or web.
